Catalog description
The DNP Project Residency course provides an immersive, hands-on experience that focuses on a quality improvement project that impacts healthcare outcomes through direct or indirect care. Students identify a clinical problem, develop and implement an evidence-based intervention, and evaluate outcomes, honing skills in project design, data collection, and analysis, and evaluation. Through collaboration with healthcare teams, students enhance their leadership and communication abilities. The course culminates in a formal project defense, showcasing the intervention's impact on clinical practice and potential for quality improvement, resulting in a scholarly product that meets DNP program standards and advances healthcare practice and patient care outcomes. Graded on S/U basis only. Credit Hour : 1-3 Prerequisites or Corequisites: NURSE 8930
