Foundations of Communication and Professionalism in Nursing - Honors

In this course, students develop interpersonal communication skills and cultural competency in nursing. Topics include social determinants of health, biases in the healthcare setting, health literacy, health disparities, medical terminology, and evidence-based communication techniques. Students will learn fundamental concepts related to the profession of nursing. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3
