Catalog description

A user/analyst perspective to relational databases used in marketing applications. Fundamentals of relational databases, including database concepts, table design, views, normalization, and security. Hands-on training in SQL (Structured Query Language) on database tables and views to retrieve, change, join, filter, sort, group, and summarize data. Data analysis with SQL and Excel combined. Presentation of SQL results sets. Course graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour : 1-3 Prerequisites or Corequisites: MRKTNG 8180 Prerequisites: GPO consent required
