Catalog description
Students learn how to turn analytical results into compelling, decision-ready stories. Students will build technical fluency in leading visualization platforms, learning to design clear interactive dashboards and customized graphics that highlight the "so what" of the numbers. In parallel, students will sharpen their oral and written communication techniques, learning how to structure logical narratives, tailor language and visuals to disparate technical or executive audiences, and apply core design principles that make insights readily accessible. Students learn to translate analytic findings into persuasive recommendations, deliver executive-style presentations, and defend their choices. Special attention is given to communicating across cultures and functional silos, ensuring that messages resonate in global and cross-disciplinary contexts. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: May be restricted to MBA students during early registration
