Catalog description

This course is for advanced level graduate students. The course is designed to develop state of the art knowledge and understanding of current research issues in the cell signaling. The major emphasis is on receptor and non-receptor mediated transmembrane signaling events underlying physiological and pharmacological responses of the cells. Students are also involved in class presentations, and the development and critical review of new research proposals, all focused on cellular signaling. Credit Hour s : 4 Prerequisites: basic courses in biochemistry and or cell and molecular biology or equivalent
