Catalog description

The course will focus on introducing the basic principles of the functions and activities of microorganisms and we will discuss on the normal cellular mechanisms associated with growth, metabolism, reproduction and survival. The course will cover our understanding and knowledge about the way in which a living microorganism functions including all physical and chemical processes. We will also focus on anatomy i.e., physical characteristics, growth and living, metabolism, chemical processes and control functions and functional entities. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Recommended: A course in microbiology or biochemistry or permission of the instructor
