Catalog description

(cross-leveled with MATH 7310 ). Solution of linear systems of equations by direct and iterative methods. Calculation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices. Selected algorithms programmed for solution on computers so familiarity with a programming tool such as MATLAB, Python, or C++ is expected. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: Grade of C- or better in MATH 2300 and MATH 4140 , and one of INFOTC 1040 or CMP_SC 1050 or CMP_SC 1300 or instructor consent required
