Catalog description
(same as BME 4370 , BIOL_EN 4370 ; cross-leveled with MAE 7211 , BIOL_EN 7370 ). Engineering sciences will be leveraged to create a comprehensive study of orthopaedic biomechanics. The tissue mechanics of bone and soft tissue will be studied along with applying structural analysis of the musculoskeletal system. Repair systems for fractured bones and worn joints will also be studied. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: C- or better in MAE 2200 or MAE 2200W or C- or better in BIOL_EN 3075 or BME 3075
