Aerodynamics I: Incompressible Flow

Introduction to fluid mechanics and aerodynamics. Topics include fluid properties and kinematics, conservation equations in differential and integral forms, Bernoulli's equation, potential flow concepts and their solutions, incompressible flow over airfoils and wings using Prandtl's theories, viscous flow and boundary layers. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: C- or better in MAE 2300 or ENGINR 2300 , MAE 2600 or ENGINR 2260 , and MATH 4100 . Restricted to Mechanical Engineering students only
