Catalog description
A basic course in fluid mechanics. Topics include: fluid properties, hydrostatics, conservation laws, infinitesimal and finite control volume analysis, Navier-Stokes equations, dimensional analysis, internal and external flows. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: Grade of C- or better in MAE 2300 or ENGINR 2300 , and MAE 2600 or ENGINR 2260 , and MATH 4100 . Restricted to Mechanical Engineering students only
