The process in which readers construct meaning by relating their socio-psycholinguistic backgrounds to discourse. 15 studied miscues (text deviations) are analyzed at several linguistic levels. A comprehension centered reading program is developed. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: LTC 7540 and LTC 7560 , or equivalent
