(same as RM_LAN 4730; cross-leveled with LINGST 7730, RM_LAN 7730The goal of this class is to study the implications of current linguistic theory for contemporary research on second language acquisition. In particular, the hypothesis that second language acquisition follows some of the same principles as first language acquisition is explored. Course is taught in English. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: LINGST 4720 , LINGST 4721 , or LINGST 4600
