Catalog description

This course will examine fundamental tax law concepts governing property and business transactions, including real estate. The course will cover both United States federal-level and state-level tax law topics. Specific topics covered include depreciation and amortization, non-recognition transactions including like-kind exchanges, and issues arising from debt-financing.
