Catalog description

This course surveys the legal and social history of state and federal regulation of sexual and reproductive behavior. It will explore constitutional rights vis a vis a number of specific legal and social issues including the demographics of conception, parenting, and domestic violence; forced sterilization; access to contraception and abortion; adoption; assisted reproductive technologies; left over pre-implantation frozen embryos; gestational surrogacy; rape; same sex marriage and family building; and stem cell research. Credit Hour : 1-3
