Life Skills for Lawyers

Catalog description
Readings and discussions will focus on how members of the class want to live their lives as a lawyer. Students will be asked to examine their law school experience and visualize their place in the legal profession. Various problems faced by lawyers (e.g. the pressure to produce billable hours and dealing with clients) will be discussed. Some of the positive aspects of being a lawyer will be identified. The emphasis will be on what the problems and opportunities mean to you personally and the importance of taking responsibility for your own personal and professional life. (not available to students on probation, except for students classified as 3L students). Credit Hour : 1-3
