Legal Analysis and Bar Skills

Catalog description

This course helps law students begin their preparation for the bar exam. It focuses on study skills and strategies most relevant for the bar examination and uses limited doctrine (e.g., Torts and Contracts) as a vehicle for developing exam-taking skills through practice questions and simulated bar exams. Students review and refresh their recollection of the doctrine via asynchronous video lectures and subject matter outlines provided by Helix Bar Review. Note that this course is designed to supplement the Helix post-graduation bar preparation course, not to substitute for such a course. Open only to students expected to graduate either at the end of the semester in which they take the course or at the end of the following semester. Graded S/U only.
