Examination of the relationship between law and literature, falling into two main areas: law-in-literature (law, legal institutions and lawyers as depicted in literary works) and law-as-literature (legal documents as literary texts subject to literary techniques of textual analysis and criticism), with emphasis on the former. Readings will include literary and legal texts. Credit Hour : 1-3
