Catalog description

The course will focus on the impact culture can have on the private ordering of disputes. Culture affects communication, perceptions regarding conflict and methods for resolution. As the world becomes more interrelated and Missouri and the U.S. more diverse, lawyers need to be prepared to resolve problems across cultural lines. 20-25% of the grade will come from timely attendance and class participation. Credit Hour : 1-3
