Catalog description

The course provides advanced analysis of the protection of civil liberties that derive from the United States Constitution and federal statutes. The statutes which will be covered most extensively include the Reconstruction Era laws now codified at 42 U.S.C. Sections 1981, 1983 and 1985; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Title IX of the Educational Amends. of 1972; and, Titles II and VI of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964. Credit Hour : 1-3
