Advanced Trial Practice

Catalog description

This course will expand student knowledge of opening statements, direct/cross examination of witnesses, jury instructions, and closing arguments. The course also will focus significantly on the examination/cross examination of expert witnesses. Grading is based on student participation in the examination of witnesses and a semester-ending written trial brief. NOTE: Intersession Trial Practice will not satisfy the prerequisite. Credit Hour : 1-3 Prerequisites: LAW 5260 Evidence and LAW 5925 Trial Practice
