Property II: Transactions

Catalog description

This required course focuses real property transactions and relationships. Recognizing the special nature of real property in our legal system, this course navigates the interaction of contract and property doctrines in the context of fundamental, bar-tested real property topics including landlord-tenant law (including housing discrimination), real estate conveyances and finance (including recording systems), and private governance of land via legal and equitable servitudes (both easements and real covenants). Credit Hour : 1-3 Prerequisites: LAW 5040
