(cross-leveled with JOURN 4448 ). One of the most important roles journalism plays in society is holding the powerful accountable and keeping the public informed about what those in charge are doing. Covering state government allows journalists to do both of these things. This course gives you the background you need to provide effective government coverage, and gives you hands-on experience.
