Amid all the gloom and doom, there are community news outlets that are thriving, and many news entrepreneurs rethinking the delivery of local news. Students will explore the local news landscape, evaluate formats, frequency and focus of varied local news products and compare revenue strategies and business models. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: C- or higher in JOURN 4180 or JOURN 4200
