Transnational and Migrant Cinema

(same as FILMS_VS 3450 , PEA_ST 3450 ). This course aims to introduce students to the concept of transnational cinema by discussing international circulation and reception of films and by analyzing issues of migration and ethnicity in contemporary films, media, and culture. The course may be focused on the transnational production of one national cinema and/or discuss films from a variety of countries. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3
