(same as CMP_SC 7910 ; cross-leveled with INFOTC 4910 , CMP_SC 4910 ). This course introduces an overview of basic Digital Forensics procedures and techniques to enable students to perform a digital investigation of physical storage media and volume analysis, including preservation, analysis and acquisition of artifacts that reside in hard disk and random access memory, for Linux and MS Windows systems. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: INFOTC 3530 or CMP_SC 3530 with C- or better, or instructor consent
