Senior Capstone Design II

Catalog description
Capstone II is the culminating component for Information Technology students, focused on the execution, testing, and presentation of the project developed in Capstone I. Students will refine their proposals, translate requirements into system architectures and development plans, and build functional prototypes or systems that address real user needs. Emphasizing professional collaboration, teams will apply version control, documentation, and task management standards while conducting user testing and integrating feedback through iterative design. Ethical, legal, and societal implications of technological decisions will be critically evaluated throughout the process. The course concludes with a professional final report and an executive-level presentation and live demonstration of the completed system, showcasing students' leadership, technical competence, and communication skills as they reflect on their growth as IT professionals. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: C- or higher in INFOTC 4970
