This course examines piracy from the ancient to the modern world, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean and Atlantic from the 15th through the 18th centuries. We'll look at a variety of firsthand accounts of piracy as well as historical interpretations of the motivations for and impact of piracy. Credit Hour s : 3
