Elementary German I - Honors

Catalog description

This course is designed for Honors students with little or no German language background and will provide students with a foundation in vocabulary and grammar in order to develop communication proficiency in German. Students will be trained using the five skills: listening, speaking, writing, reading and cultural knowledge. The course will be taught as a total immersion class and thus differs from the standard elementary German sequence. Furthermore, students will be required to complete lengthier reading and writing tasks as well as present a final oral multimedia project at the end of the semester. Credit Hour s : 5 Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required
