This course discusses basic economic and financial principles, and their applications in agroforestry. Specifically, the discussion includes market demand and supply, market failure, non-market valuations, cost and benefit analysis, short term and long term economic analysis, economic valuation of ecosystem services, and the applications in agroforestry.
