Catalog description

Forest harvesting is a critical phase for meeting ecological, economical, and societal objectives within forestland and woodland settings. We will be exploring different harvesting systems; planning and designing harvests given various management objectives; and understanding the complexity of mitigating short- and long-term environmental impacts. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: FOREST 2541 and FOREST 2542 or permission of the instructor
