(same as ANTHRO 1150 ). Course focus is on genres of folklore in both historic and contemporary contexts, as well as in people's daily lives. Genres include narrative, proverbs, oral poetry and rhyme, riddles, jokes, legends, epics, material culture and intangible expressive culture. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3
