(cross-leveled with ECONOM 4776 ). Individuals, businesses, and government entities make choices that affect the economy both in the past and also in modern day. The study of economics gives students the opportunity to find evidence for making decisions in real life, and the past can help determine how to best approach the future. Towards that end, this course builds a foundation of economic history. Economic concepts are incorporated to assess the impact of the changing economy over time. The time examined in this course is the United States from colonial era to the present. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: ECONOM 1014 and ECONOM 1015
