Catalog description

The Dermatology rotation is designed to provide the medical student with a broad general base in clinical dermatology. Dermatology Clinic is an integral part of the student's experience on this rotation. Students participate in the evaluation of patients with skin disease at a community based clinic. Students may participate in the evaluation and management of patients with complex, often serious, dermatologic conditions under the supervision of the attending physician. Students may also participate in Dermatologic inpatient consultations. Students may also assist in Dermatologic procedures. Credit Hour s : 5 Prerequisites: Successful completion of the first two years of medical school. Successful completion of the Medicine Clerkship
