Mechanical Design I

Catalog description

Students will utilize techniques of modeling to create machine specific drawings. The course emphasizes methods, techniques, and procedures (in presenting screws, bolts, rivets, springs, thread types, symbols for welding, materials, finish and heat treatment notation, working order preparation, routing, and other industry procedures) used in mechanical design. Prerequisite: DDT 1163 , DDT 1313 , DDT 1323 (3,1,4)
