Credits: 3 An introduction to basic concepts and interdisciplinary perspectives in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies scholarship. WGS 200 will analyze 20th and 21st century feminist and queer histories of resistance and alternatives to economic and political control, domestically and globally. This course will employ an intersectional lens to examine closely sexuality and gender with race, class, nationality, and dis/ability to address topics such as economic marginalization, social movements, the institutions of family and marriage, migration and the role of the state/nation, or other relevant issues
