Credits: 4 A lab-based survey of the fundamentals of chemistry aimed at increasing chemical knowledge for non-science majors. Topics include scientific inquiry and information, atomic behavior and its influence on macroscopic properties, and the presence of chemistry in everyday lives and occurrences. Note: No credit can be earned for this course if the student already has credit for PSC 111 or PSC 212 or PS 108
