Credits: 3 45 contact hours Prerequisite: NU 360 , NU 459 This course builds upon the foundation established in Theory and Research I, expanding the student’s understanding of nursing theory and research application. Theoretical content will focus on selected nursing theories that align with current clinical practice areas. In the research component, students will engage in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of research data. Working collaboratively in groups, students will implement their research proposals, develop Chapters IV and V of their research reports, write an abstract, and present their findings through a formal PowerPoint presentation. This course emphasizes the integration of theory and research to support evidence-based practice and professional development in nursing. Grounded in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials (2021) and the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Professional Nursing Practice , this course supports the development of professional competencies necessary for leadership and effective practice in today’s dynamic healthcare environments
