Catalog description

Credits: 1 15 contact hours This elective course will enhance the student’s understanding of basic mathematic skills and their eventual application to accurate calculation of drug and solution dosages. Basic math concepts of number systems, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio and proportion, and systems of measurement will be reviewed and practiced for future computation of drug dosages. Note: Open to non-nursing majors. This course cannot be used to satisfy graduation requirements. Fall and Spring Semesters
