Catalog description

Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Music Education majors; admission to Teacher Education. Preparation for teaching music at the elementary and secondary levels, including measurement and evaluation of learning and skill development. Areas of emphasis are singing, playing instruments, rhythmic activity, general music classes, theory, and choral groups. Note: Course requires 10 hours of field experience, and successful completion of the course requires a final grade of “C” or higher
