Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MGT 387 This course examines the opportunities and constraints facing those who wish to innovate in health care organizations. Students will learn how to stimulate innovation and thought and how to create and sustain successful cultures of innovation in health care. The course will also discuss how to successfully create entrepreneurial health care ventures and will provide a framework for health care start-ups, development of business models and plans, capitalization and best practices for company launch. Portfolio paper required for course completion
