Credits: 3 Documentary films differ from other film genres because they attempt to represent reality, and they feature real people and events. This course examines various modes and approaches that documentary filmmakers have taken to present reality in their films. The course also considers social and ethical considerations of documentary film and the influence of these films on our understanding of the broader world. Note: Junior Level
