Catalog description
Credits: 1 Prerequisite/Corequisite: EN 101 Supplemental instruction for qualified students to complement EN 101. A study of essentials of grammar, effective paragraph and sentence structure, the writing process, reading and writing analytically, rhetorical contexts, and revision techniques, with instruction and exercises in writing and revision of writing. Note: For English ACT score of 14-16 or English ACT 13 or below with high school GPA of 3.0 or above. Corequisite enrollment in designated section of EN 101 with the same instructor. Final grade is A, B, C, D. Student must earn a grade of at least a C in EN 100S and EN 101 before enrolling in EN 102. This course cannot be used to satisfy graduation requirements
