Credits: 3 The purpose of this course is to examine assessment techniques, test construction, test statistics, interpretation, application, and their relationship to instructional decisions. Major attention is given to the construction of classroom assessment instruments and determination of their reliability and validity. Ethical issues of assessment, assessment needs of diverse populations, and standardized testing instruments are also examined
