Advanced Painting

Catalog description

Credits: 3 6 hours per week Prerequisite: ART 379 or permission of the Department Chair of Art and Design Advanced problems in painting. Emphasis on direction and cohesion in body of work. Students repeating this course are expected to build on previous knowledge and expertise. For those students, the methods of working and the number and complexity of the paintings produced are determined through consultation with the instructor (based on the student’s current skill level). Note: Can be repeated for a maximum of 12 hours
