Catalog description

(Prerequisite: MA/ ST 4243 /6243). Three hours lecture. This course is about concepts and the implementation of selected statistical and machine learning methods. This course includes predictive modeling, regression and classification problems, data handling for both quantitative and categorical types, model evaluation/selection, and relevant interpretation. (Same as MA 4253 /6253)
