(Prerequisite: BIO 1134 or BIO 1144 and ADS/ VS 3014 or equivalent). Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory. Anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the mammary gland; nervous and hormonal control of lactation, theories of milk secretion, modern methods of milking, factors affecting lactation.
