(Prerequisite: ACT math subscore 24, or grade of C or better in MA 1213 , MA 1313 , or higher). Three hours lecture. Basic concepts and methods of statistics, including descriptive statistics, probability, random variables, sampling distribution, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression and correlation. (Same as ST 3123 )
