Catalog description

This course introduces students to the theory and practice of crisis intervention with an emphasis on the use of short-term intervention and problem-solving techniques. This course emphasizes crisis theory and crisis intervention models applied to various crisis problems and populations at-risk. This course can be repeated up to two times for a maximum six credits. Prerequisite: Junior or Senior status.
