Assessment in SPED.

Catalog description

Students will learn to administer and interpret a variety of assessment instruments appropriate for diverse learners. The focus will include the use of legal provisions and ethical principles, screening, pre-referral, referral and classification practices and procedures, for individuals with exceptional learning needs. In addition, curriculum-based assessment will be used to evaluate instruction and monitor student progress.
