Catalog description

The idea of society is perhaps one of the most difficult abstractions in our repertoire. This course introduces the student to various perspectives that seek to explain both the historical and contemporary meaning of society. Honors Program admission or 3.30 cumulative GPA and permission of the instructor is required. This course can be repeated up to sixteen times, or for a maximum sixteen credits, whichever limit is hit first.
